Handspun Falkland Yarn - Hot Pink-Purple-Orange - 150 yds. at 10-11 WPI
4 oz. of hand-dyed Falkland top was used to spin this 150 yds. of 'Hot Mama!' 2-ply yarn. It's a slightly thick/thin handspun at 10-11 WPI - soft, squishy and ready to knit, crochet or weave into something really funky and scrumptious!
Falkland wool is great for just about anything - cowls, hats, scarves.....
All spun and plied on my trusty Ashford wheel. (My Norwegian Grandma's century old wheel that came from Norway with her in the early 1900's has been retired for a few years now - she became a little too fragile and deserved to be able to watch over my work with dignity.)
Because the yarn is handspun, there will be slight differences throughout - that’s the beauty of handmade.
Hand wash, please, and lay flat to dry. It will felt!
My kitties aren't allowed to smoke or play in my fibers. Once in a while, though, a stray hair will find it's way into whatever I'm working on. So, if you're sensitive to the little furry creatures, please be aware of this beforehand.
