Angel Fish - Handspun Polwarth Yarn - 150 yds. - 2-ply
'Angel Fish' started as 4 oz. of hand-dyed Polwarth top - it was then spun this 150 yds. of 2-ply, thick and thin silliness of a yarn that's sometimes a fingering weight and sometimes chunky.
It will most certainly work up into something very, very interesting - maybe a cowl? A hat? A scarf? How about a pair of handwarmers for your favorite hight school or college student? (It's not the holiday season yet, but I'm starting my gift knitting soon!)
All spun and plied on my trusty Ashford wheel. (My Norwegian Grandma's century old wheel that came from Norway with her in the early 1900's has been retired for a few years now - she became a little too fragile and deserved to be able to watch over my work with dignity.)
Because the yarn is handspun, there will be slight differences throughout - that’s the beauty of handmade.
Hand wash, please, and lay flat to dry. It will felt!
My kitties aren't allowed to smoke or play in my fibers. Once in a while, though, a stray hair will try to find it's way into whatever I'm working on. So, if you're sensitive to the little furry creatures, please be aware of this beforehand.
