I threw a slab of clay on my wheel, just goofing around - and, suddenly, I was cutting it apart into small pieces, drilling them and making the darned things into buttons! These buttons are part of that 'goof-off' slab of white earthenware clay.
They're about 1 inch in length and 1/2 inch at the widest point, glazed to resemble candy corn.
These are perfect for embellishing a hand knitted scarf, neck warmer, or hat - but, also as an accent on a felted bag or purse.
Although the buttons are washable, it’s best if you either hand wash the garment or turn it inside out and hang or block it to dry.
