This pair of unique buttons are a bit over 1 1/8 inches long by 3/4 inch wide.
Some would call these 'Shabby Chic' - I just think they look like a few pieces of iron pipe that have seen better days with some of the paint chipped off - like those old swing sets I played on when I was little (when dinosaurs roamed the earth).
They're cut from a textured slab of blended clays (not really agateware - more like 'mushed together ware').
They'd make excellent accents for your finished knitted or crocheted work - on a hat, maybe?
Although the buttons are washable, it’s best if you either hand wash the garment or turn it inside out and hang or block it to dry.
